No Photoshop needed

Print any image at the exact size you need

Set the width and height in cm or inches, or measure a known distance with Set real size, and print at 100% actual size. No scaling math, no guesswork.

Upload a photo, logo, template, or reference image. Type the exact width or height you need, or use Set real size to match a real object. GridPrint builds a print-ready PDF at true dimensions. Print at 100% (actual size) and verify with a ruler — what you measure on paper is what you set.

Print at exact size

Three steps to an exact-size print

01

Upload your image

Drag & drop any image — photos, logos, references, labels. PNG, JPG, SVG, WebP, BMP, TIFF.

02

Set the exact dimensions

Enter width or height in cm or inches. GridPrint calculates the other dimension to keep the aspect ratio. Choose your paper size.

03

Print at 100%

Download the PDF and print at 100% scale (not "fit to page"). Measure the result — it matches what you entered.

Precise printing made simple

Exact dimensions — verified

Set your size in cm or inches. A scale ruler is included in the PDF so you can verify with a real ruler before committing.

Built-in image adjustments

Crop, rotate, adjust brightness and contrast, apply effects — all in the browser. No need to open another app first.

Any paper size

A4, Letter, A3, Legal, Tabloid. Pick your paper and GridPrint places your image at exact size on the page.

Private and offline

Your images never leave your browser. No uploads, no account, no watermark. Install as a PWA and use it anywhere.

Size by two points

Not sure of the dimensions? Mark two points on the image and enter the real distance between them. GridPrint back-solves the size so that span prints exactly — tilt and surrounding whitespace included.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from just printing?
When you print an image from your photo viewer or browser, most apps scale it to fill or fit the page. You get whatever size the app decides. GridPrint lets you set exact physical dimensions — 15 cm means 15 cm on paper.
Why does my printer shrink the image?
Most print dialogs default to "fit to page" or "shrink to fit", which rescales your image to the paper. To print at exact size, choose 100% (actual size) and turn off any fit or auto-scale option. GridPrint sizes the PDF correctly so 100% gives the dimensions you set.
Can I print at an exact size in cm or in inches?
Yes. Switch the unit to cm or inches and type the width or height. GridPrint keeps the aspect ratio and outputs a PDF at that exact physical size, so it prints the same on any printer.
Can I print larger than one page?
Yes. If your target size exceeds the paper, GridPrint automatically splits it across multiple pages with alignment marks. But for single-page prints, just set a size that fits your paper.
What if my image is low resolution?
GridPrint shows a DPI warning if your image will look pixelated at the size you chose. For crisp prints, aim for at least 150 DPI.
Can I crop the image first?
Yes. GridPrint has a built-in crop tool. Crop to the part you need, then set the exact output size.
Do I need to install anything?
No. GridPrint runs in your browser. Optionally install it as a PWA for offline use.
How do I make one object exactly the size I want?
Use Set real size: tap two points across the object, enter the real-world distance (for example 20 cm), and GridPrint scales the whole image so that distance prints exactly. Surrounding whitespace and any tilt no longer matter.
